At Gould Transport, we do not compromise on the safety of our staff and customers. We believe that the right to work in a safe environment is a fundamental right for everyone. Therefore, we ensure that we create an environment where that is possible for our staff. This is a philosophy that positions health and safety as one of the fundamental guiding principles for everything we do. The safety of our staff is not negotiable, and this further extends to the members of the public and anyone who goes through your worksite or uses our services. We have an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager in charge of ensuring that our health and safety policy is followed all through our operations. We specifically work with the head of each department within our operations to make sure that we are not compromising the safety of any member of our team. We value every member for the unique insights and inputs that they add to the team and make sure that their health and safety is never jeopardised. This is why only those who are equipped to handle certain tasks. There is nothing like improvising in our work system; the qualified person handles the job using the proper equipment. Where the qualified person is not available, or the right equipment is faulty, we will rather delay than improvise Gould Transport holds Safety Standards certification, and we are also accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner. Thus, we implement rigorous and comprehensive safety and health processes in all aspects of our service delivery and operation. One of the ways we have been able to achieve this is through proper planning and implementation of all our health policies. We are committed to safety while also ensuring the successful delivery of all projects. For us, it is all about the planning and integration of our health and safety policies in a structured and consistent manner into all our operations. We are committed to meeting the expectations of the clients without jeopardising the safety of our team. When working with subcontractors, we also make sure that their safety standards match ours by encouraging them to improve and in some cases, we help them to get safety accreditation. This value is not just another feel-good company policy, or for propaganda, it is something that guides all our practices and to ensure compliance at all time, we have a management system within the workplace that reviews compliance regularly and ensure that in the execution of all our project and in every decision we take, this value has a place. We take pride in living up to our commitments and showing our clients that integrity underlies our services.
